I use kernel version 4.20.5-200.fc29.x86_64.

Based on bug 1625415 that you linked to, this looks like a kernel bug and, more precisely, it needs an upstream solution.

It seems to work since kernel version 5.1.7-300.fc30.x86_64 (Fedora 30).
