Description Troy Dawson 2019-02-06 22:50:42 UTC
openssl-pkcs11-0.4.8-1.el7 obsoletes engine_pkcs11 < 0.4.7-4 and libp11 < 0.4.7-4
It also provides engine_pkcs11 = 0.4.8-1.el7 and libp11 = 0.4.8-1.el7

I am trying to cleanup EPEL7 packages that don't install and/or obsoleted.

I believe libp11 should be removed from EPEL7.

Please respond to this bug, letting us know if you feel this package should be in EPEL7, or not.

If you wish it removed, let us know and we can have a proven packager remove it from EPEL7.

If you have not responded in two weeks, we will assume that you do not mind it being removed and will have a proven packager remove the package from EPEL7.

libp11 has been removed from EPEL7.
I will close this ticket when I have verified that it is gone.

Turns out that libp11 has already been removed from EPEL7, back in April 2018.
The problem is that after it was retired, libp11-0.4.7-1.el7 got tagged back into EPEL7.

I don't have permission to untag packages. We'll get this turned over to someone who can.

This requires releng intervention
https://pagure.io/releng/issue/8160

The package has been removed from EPEL7.
I will close this when I have verified that it is no longer in EPEL7 repositories.

Package is not in EPEL7 repositories.
