RHEL Engineering is moving the tracking of its product development work on RHEL 6 through RHEL 9 to Red Hat Jira (issues.redhat.com). Individual Bugzilla bugs in the statuses "NEW", "ASSIGNED", and "POST" are being migrated throughout September 2023. This same link will be available in a blue banner at the top of the page informing you that that bug has been migrated.

Description of problem:

When plugging in Canon EOS 7D i can't access my photos.
Not via console or nautilus or shotwell or Corel AfterShot Pro 2

How reproducible:

Connect Canon EOS 7D, camera is discovered, popup for camera shown, could be browsed via Nautilus or Shotwell. Folder DCIM and MISC under store_deadbeef is discovered without content.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Connect camera
2. Power on camera
3. Camera is discovered
4. no pictures could be accessed

Actual results:

No pictures accessed.

Additional info:

This is a Scientific Linux 7.6
Was working with version 7.4 back in 2017 when on my USA vacation.
Is working with current Fedora 29.
