Description of problem: The installation of ansible-tower-setup after a CFME 5.10.0 upgrade installs several non-Red Hat yum repositories such as epel-7, ansible-el7, anasible-tower, pgdg-96-centos and rabbitmq. If a subsequent yum update is performed then packages will be installed from these repositories, overwriting the correct and tested packages from the cf-me repository. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 5.10.0.33 How reproducible: every time Steps to Reproduce: 1. On a CFME 5.9 appliance that doesn't have the Embedded Ansible server role enabled, upgrade the appliance from 5.9 to 5.10 2. Enable the Embedded Ansible server role 2. Perform a 'yum repolist', and notice the extra repositories Actual results: Additional yum repositories have been erroneously added to the appliance Expected results: No additional repositories should be added Additional info: This appears to be a repeat of https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1577247
Graham/Shane, Did anything change in ansible-tower installer? CFME 5.10.0 includes ansible-tower-3.3.3-1.el7at. Thanks, Satoe
ansible-tower 3.4.1-2 will fix the issue generating those repo files. Also making a change to cfme RPM so the extra repo files created by ansible-tower 3.3.3 will be deleted upon upgrade. Note: this can be reproduced on a fresh appliance
