The link to the successor Jira issue will be found under "Links", have a little "two-footprint" icon next to it, and direct you to the "RHEL project" in Red Hat Jira (issue links are of type "https://issues.redhat.com/browse/RHEL-XXXX", where "X" is a digit). This same link will be available in a blue banner at the top of the page informing you that that bug has been migrated.

Description of problem:

During investigation of bug 1641631 it was noticed that rpm issues terse, uninformative messages for SELinux errors although it does have the information to do better - and in fact does emit that as a debug-level log.

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce: 
1. for example, change /etc/selinux/config to point to bogus policy type
2. try to install a package with rpm

Actual results:
error: Plugin selinux: hook tsm_pre failed

Expected results:
An error with the actual reason, when possible, in this case something like:

error: selabel_open: (/etc/selinux/ponies/contexts/files/file_contexts) No such file or directory
error: Plugin selinux: hook tsm_pre failed

Bug 1677199 is related in that until that is fixed, dnf masks the errors from rpm side but we should fix the rpm side regardless of that.
