Spec URL: http://www.barrys-emacs.org/fedora/python-pycxx.spec SRPM URL: http://www.barrys-emacs.org/fedora/python-pycxx-7.1.2-1.fc29.src.rpm Description: update PyCXX to 7.1.2 release (needed to build pysvn) Fedora Account System Username: barryascott
I am the upstream for PyCXX. I have a git patch for the changes need to the fedora packaging: http://www.barrys-emacs.org/fedora/python-pycxx-7.1.2
Package already in fedora repo. So it not need new Review Request. You can send Pull Request directly here https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/python-pycxx
I'm happy to add you as a maintainer or make you the admin. I've got more packages than I can handle right now. I tried the link but it was 404...
Ok, I also caught up on the email list too... Barry, If you're not already a packager I can sponsor you. Part of it is showing you understand the process, guidelines, and tools. Please submit a pull request with your updates to PyCXX. You may already know how but in short: 1. Go to the page Vasiliy referred you to 2. Fork the project 3. Check out your fork from pagure 4. Make the updates (can use a patch, or maybe importing your SRPM will work? I haven't tried that.) 5. Push the updates back to pagure 6. Open a pull request from your fork or the main package site.
I will do the pull request as I'd like a review please. Then I'm happy to take over pycxx as admin.
