With this update, a new configuration variable, `AAA_JAAS_ENABLE_DEBUG`, has been added to enable `Kerberos/GSSAPI` debug on `AAA`. The default value is `false`. To enable debugging, create a new configuration file named `/etc/ovirt-engine/engine.conf.d/99-kerberos-debug.conf` with the following content: `AAA_JAAS_ENABLE_DEBUG=true`

Description of problem:

When AAA connects to the LDAP server to find the principal name or the groups the user belongs to and authenticates itself using Kerberos/GSSAPI there is no way to enable the debug mode. 

The only option is to edit the 'ovirt-engine.xml.in' file but there is no way to make extensions tool to work.

It would be great to have the possibility of enabling the debug mode in a simple way.

Please hold on, I figured out how to enable this using configuration variables only

Ok, the configuration variables apply to the extensions tool only, not the engine, so I think this patch would be needed.

Verified in ovirt-engine-4.4.0-0.33.master.el8ev.

This bugzilla is included in oVirt 4.4.0 release, published on May 20th 2020.

Since the problem described in this bug report should be
resolved in oVirt 4.4.0 release, it has been closed with a resolution of CURRENT RELEASE.
