Description Simone Tiraboschi 2019-03-18 22:29:15 UTC
Description of problem:
Hosted-engine-setup fails deploying over an NFS share with a visible IPv6 address

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
4.3

How reproducible:
100%

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Try to deploy hosted-engine on an NFS share like '[2607:fc30:100:1000::200]:/storage/nfs/he1' with a visible IPv6 address
2.
3.

Actual results:
hosted-engine-setup wrongly splits address and path due to ':' in the IPv6 address

Expected results:
it successfully deploy hosted-engine

Additional info:
it fails also from the cockpit wizard due to the same reason and also REST API wrongly split it (see: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/1688982 )

Test Step:
1. Clean install RHVH-4.3-20190328.0-RHVH-x86_64-dvd1.iso
2. Configure IPv6 environment for hosted engine testing
3. Setup NFS server for IPv6 address
4. Login to cockpit UI with root account in IPv6 environment
5. Deploy hosted engine on an NFS share like '[2620:52:0:4982:208f:ea29:6d0e:c732]:/home/guest/nfs' with a visible IPv6 address

According to comment #2, and also verify with network team that it works on regular HE env, and on cockpit(#2)
Moving to Verified
