Description of problem: Python pandas needs the minimum version of 1.12.0 of it. Please check if the update is possible. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): python36-numpy-1.10.4-7.el7.x86_64.rpm Additional info: http://pandas.pydata.org/
Well, looks like 1.12.1 builds, and doesn't break deps in EPEL7: https://copr.fedorainfracloud.org/coprs/orion/numpy1.12/ Give that a try and see how it goes. I think I'm willing to push it to EPEL7 if no other issues come up.
I have take a look at the build log: https://copr-be.cloud.fedoraproject.org/results/orion/numpy1.12/epel-7-x86_64/00878790-python3-numpy/build.log.gz And I seen, some errors: - openblas-devel was not installed at build time - blis-devel was not installed at build time - svnversion was not installed at build time - The package was build using python3.4 but, 3.6 is the default for python3 since 3 days. Can you try to fix it?
Ah, it probably is a good time to switch to openblas, done. blis is an alternative BLAS implementation - we are using openblas. svnversion is not needed. Package is built for both python 3.4 and 3.6.
