Reopening as we won't be able to handle bug #1718168 for 4.4.

This bug depends on bug #1718168 which is in NEW state and targeted to 4.5.
Please retarget.

The bug does not depend on anything. A package for python 3 is available since
1.6.1. Current version of the package is 1.6.3 was built today.

Please update the target to whatever value needed, we finished our work for this
bug.

Verified on rhv-4.4.0.14 both in engine(RHEL7.8) and host(RHEL8.1).

Moving back to NEW since engine moved to EL8 and imageio is being refactored.

ovirt-imageio 2.0.4 is compatible with engine on rhel 8.2.

Moving to 4.4.0 since the package is ready.

I assume that after repacking of imageio on 4.4 latest build (rhv-release-4.4.0-35-001.noarch), the verification would be a bit different from what described in the comment #6 ?

The verification is to check that ovirt-imageio.service is up
after installing engine.

Or try to uploda a disk image or download existing disk from UI.

I uploaded a disk image from UI while watching /var/log/ovirt-imageio/daemon.log both on engine and vdsm host.
No ERRORS / WARNS were seen, the process completed successfully.
