Description giulioo 2000-08-28 06:51:39 UTC
# rpm -q initscripts
initscripts-5.46-1
# /sbin/service smb testing
Usage: /etc/init.d/smb {start|stop|restart|status|condrestart}
# /sbin/service mysqld testing
Usage: /etc/init.d/mysqld {start|stop|status|reload|condrestart|restart}
#

I think that, for consistency reasons, it should say
Usage: /etc/rc.d/init.d/smb  ....
Usage: /etc/rc.d/init.d/mysqld ....
that is, it should use the real file names and not the symlinks.

Both paths are vaild on a pinstripe and later system, so we
probably won't change this.
