I've modified cs_mappings-prod.csv to include an ENG CONTENT ID, MODIFIES mapping to the product ExpectedModifiedEngIDs Change is out for review. This work is scheduled to be done as part of the Satellite GA tasks. Here is the RCM ticket tracking this work: https://projects.engineering.redhat.com/browse/RCM-56349 For future releases, we could move this work to be done earlier in the GA prep release process if it would be useful to other teams. work completed in https://projects.engineering.redhat.com/browse/RCM-56349 (In reply to Lisa S from comment #9) > @jsefler, ... You were missing system-z and hpc-node content sets: Agreed! I have updated my test account to include an EUS subscription that provides products 217 and 73 and now I catch these failing triplets too... ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Engineering product 217 - "Red Hat Enterprise Linux EUS Compute Node" provides access to the following content sets... ContentSetLabel ContentSetID ActualModifiedEngIDs ExpectedModifiedEngIDs rhel-7-for-hpc-node-eus-satellite-tools-6.5-rpms 8545 [] <= FAILED 76 rhel-7-for-hpc-node-eus-satellite-tools-6.5-debug-rpms 8544 [] <= FAILED 76 rhel-7-for-hpc-node-eus-satellite-tools-6.5-source-rpms 8546 [] <= FAILED 76 ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Engineering product 73 - "Red Hat Enterprise Linux for IBM z Systems - Extended Update Support" provides access to the following content sets... ContentSetLabel ContentSetID ActualModifiedEngIDs ExpectedModifiedEngIDs rhel-7-for-system-z-eus-satellite-tools-6.5-rpms 8524 [] <= FAILED 72 rhel-7-for-system-z-eus-satellite-tools-6.5-debug-rpms 8523 [] <= FAILED 72 rhel-7-for-system-z-eus-satellite-tools-6.5-source-rpms 8525 [] <= FAILED 72 ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Why is this being tracked in bugzilla? This is an RCM ticket and not a bug in Satellite 6. It is also tagged into Satellite 6.6 as a release blocker, which it is not. I'm going to clear those flags so it isn't getting mixed in with 6.6 and can we consider driving these types of CDN issues entirely in Jira and not Satellite 6 bugzilla, which is for product defects, not tasks. additional mappings added, https://projects.engineering.redhat.com/browse/RCM-64908 is resolved (In reply to Frank DiPrete from comment #14) > additional mappings added, > https://projects.engineering.redhat.com/browse/RCM-64908 > is resolved RCM ticket RCM-64908 appears to have resolved *-eus-satellite-tools-6.6-* content sets which was reported and verified in Bug 1734039. But it does not appear to have fixed this bug for *-eus-satellite-tools-6.5-* content sets; eus content set tests are still failing. I opened another Jira ticket for 6.5 mappings https://projects.engineering.redhat.com/browse/RCM-68948 Can you please provide the list like you did for 6.6 ? Thank you From the lists above 8505, 69 8506, 69 8507, 69 8524, 72 8523, 72 8525, 72 8529, 74 8530, 74 8531, 74 8535, 279 8536, 279 8537, 279 8545, 76 8544, 76 8546, 76 Correct John ? mappings added - task complete https://projects.engineering.redhat.com/browse/RCM-68948 John, What RCM does is update the files (qa stage and prod) and then we run rcm-metadata/cdn/push_cs_mappings --eng <enviro> cs_mappings-stage.csv I don't know of any other process. -Frank I've run the subscription pool refresh for prod with success. Running again stage, I am getting a failure to queue. https://projects.engineering.redhat.com/browse/RCM-69497 FYI... This bug is not fixed. The list in comment 18 will fix this bug, but they still do not appear in http://git.app.eng.bos.redhat.com/git/rcm/rcm-metadata.git/tree/cdn/cs_mappings-prod.csv The attempt to refresh in Comment 25 must be done AFTER they have been added to the cs_mappings-prod.csv file. After the list in comment 18 is added to cs_mappings-prod.csv, then you will have to do a subscription_pool_refresh.py --env prod 217 73 292 70 75 ---------------- Repeat for env stage Moving the status back to NEW. Nothing appears fixed. Interesting. I definitely updated the file with the mappings in comment 18 see https://projects.engineering.redhat.com/browse/RCM-68948?focusedCommentId=1894599&page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel#comment-1894599 I see that they are not in the file now though. changes were taken out by this commit commit f18f43eeb11abdf128c9dea2b2cd40b2be24a301 Author: Pavel Niahodkin <pniahodk> Date: Tue Oct 29 12:11:05 2019 -0400 ./update-data Change-Id: Ia070fb3651d7d3c56a5d649ec4454c49cf6e2674 diff --git a/cdn/cs_mappings-prod.csv b/cdn/cs_mappings-prod.csv index 235d7ab..e1f8efe 100644 — a/cdn/cs_mappings-prod.csv +++ b/cdn/cs_mappings-prod.csv @@ -438,21 +438,6 @@ ENG CONTENT ID, MODIFIES 7792, 76 7793, 76 7794, 76 -8505, 69 -8506, 69 -8507, 69 -8523, 72 -8524, 72 -8525, 72 -8529, 74 -8530, 74 -8531, 74 -8535, 279 -8536, 279 -8537, 279 -8544, 76 -8545, 76 -8546, 76 8937, 69 8938, 69 8939, 69 I have put back the missing mappings.
