A conversation over in rpmfusion lead to a need for python3-mysql on el8.

Since this open bug report is EPEL related, I'll post here for now.

I am willing to maintain this package for EPEL branches if the package maintainer is willing to grant me commit access. Thank you.

python 3.4 is EOL, I would strongly encourage moving to python 3.6 on EL7.

Aurelien - are you still interested in maintaining this package in EPEL, or shall we had it over to someone else? Thanks.

Comment 3 Orion Poplawski 2021-10-18 21:19:05 UTC
Andrew (and others) - there is either python3-mysqlclient from EPEL8, or python3-PyMySQL from RHEL8.

Comment 4 Orion Poplawski 2021-10-18 21:21:41 UTC
Hmm, and also a python3-mysql from EPEL8. Fun.
