python 3.4 is EOL, I would strongly encourage moving to python 3.6 on EL7. Aurelien - are you still interested in maintaining this package in EPEL, or shall we had it over to someone else? Thanks.
Andrew (and others) - there is either python3-mysqlclient from EPEL8, or python3-PyMySQL from RHEL8.
