Description of problem: when running updates from EPEL, it shows python36-future as an update to python34-future. When applying the update the following error message is shown: Transaction check error: file /usr/bin/futurize-3 from install of python36-future-0.16.0-7.el7.noarch conflicts with file from package python34-future-0.16.0-6.el7.noarch file /usr/bin/pasteurize-3 from install of python36-future-0.16.0-7.el7.noarch conflicts with file from package python34-future-0.16.0-6.el7.noarch Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): RHEL 7.6 python34-future-0.16.0-6.el7.noarch update to: python36-future-0.16.0-7.el7.noarch
python36-future should add: Obsoletes: python34-future < 0.16.0-7 ----- As a workaround, remove python34-future before updating, if impossible, try using yum shell with: remove python34-future install python36-future update run
I will fix it soon.
