Description Dhananjay Arunesh 2019-05-03 11:40:30 UTC
In memcached before 1.5.14, a NULL pointer dereference was found in the "lru
mode" and "lru temp_ttl" commands. This causes a denial of service when parsing
crafted lru command messages in process_lru_command in memcached.c.

Comment 2 Joshua Padman 2019-05-13 04:01:09 UTC
The vulnerable code is not present in the version of memcached that ships for Red Hat OpenStack Platform 9 (memcached-1.4.15-9.4.el7ost). All other supported versions are vulnerable.

Comment 9 Riccardo Schirone 2019-05-13 14:24:05 UTC
Statement:

The vulnerable code is not present in the versions of memcached as shipped in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 and 7, so they are not affected by this flaw.
