Description Leszek Matok 2019-05-07 19:41:22 UTC
dnf system-upgrade spits:

Problem 3: package system-config-services-0.111.4-2.fc24.noarch requires python-slip >= 0.1.11, but none of the providers can be installed
  - python2-slip-0.6.4-12.fc29.noarch does not belong to a distupgrade repository
  - problem with installed package system-config-services-0.111.4-2.fc24.noarch

This is a system that has been upgraded several times with dnf system-upgrade before (so 100% supported configuration). I don't use system-config-services, it's only installed because Fedora installed it previously!

Comment 1 Leszek Matok 2019-05-11 15:26:45 UTC
I've noticed new fedora-obsolete-packages fixing other upgrade errors I've seen, so I guess these belong there as well?

Comment 2 Miro Hrončok 2019-05-11 17:13:04 UTC
system-config-services was retired in Fedora 25 but never obsoleted. It causes upgrade issues (29 -> 30).
