It's mostly UI and it also requires lower-component involvement.

Created attachment 1702287 [details] labels is missing on HPP The UI has changed, now there just "hostpath-provisioner" and "kubevirt-hyperconverged" in the instances tab, but labels is still missing on "hostpath-provisioner".
hostpath-provisioner CR is created by the user, not by HCO operator so I don't think we can do that much about that.
Moving this back to ON_QA. As Simone says: HPP (and it's CR) are manually created by the user, not by HCO, thus it is correct that it does not have the "app=hyper-converged" label.
