Hi Pierre, thank you for reporting the issue! You're right, it is the same bug and even you are the reporter - upstream did not respond on the issue for one and half of year. I created some string handling fixes in meantime, but I was not able to verify if it helps. Would you mind attaching as a file into attachments: 1) your ppd file of your print queue (/etc/cups/ppd/<your_print_queue_name>.ppd) 2) file you want to print 3) file from /var/spool/cups which begins by letter 'd' (if affected printing was the last thing you printed, it will be the newest 'd' file there)

Hi Pierre, thank you for the data and sorry for long delay - I tested the newest hplip with your data and it does not crash anymore. In any case, this bugzilla is solved IMO. If you get the error again, please reopen or file a new.
