+++ This bug is a downstream clone. The original bug is: +++ +++ bug 1649479 +++ ====================================================================== Description of problem: For each the storage domain is reported the creation date of all the data disk and of ovf_stores, i.e. url: https://$RHV_MANAGER/ovirt-engine/webadmin/?#storage-disks;name=$SD_NAME Is it possible to add the 'last update" date/date for each of the elements above? This is very useful in case of DR tests because it would allow end users to know if the OVF_STORE is in coherent with the all data written in it and that the execution of "Update OVFs" completed succesfully (since it's async) Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): RHV-M 4.2.7 How reproducible: Always Actual results: End user is unable to know if changes to data/metadata happened on the storage domain have been correctly saved. Expected results: To have the possibility to view the status of the SD with report of the last update on the OVF_STORE (Originally by Andrea Perotti)
This bug has not been marked as blocker for oVirt 4.3.0. Since we are releasing it tomorrow, January 29th, this bug has been re-targeted to 4.3.1. (Originally by Sandro Bonazzola)
patches are not merged (POST) and only for master NOT 4.3(!) please check it out
All patches are merged Master: https://gerrit.ovirt.org/#/c/99252/ https://gerrit.ovirt.org/#/c/99253/ 4.3: https://gerrit.ovirt.org/#/c/100560/ https://gerrit.ovirt.org/#/c/100561/
Tested using: Although, the "Last Modified" column exists and sortable under Storage -> Disks, it's doesn't get updated. Tried to click on "update OVFs" for a given storage domain (manually by demand) and also to move the storage to maintenance and activate again. The "Last Modified" column stays the same. Also, for disks other then OVF, the last modified value (default) is 1.1.1970 while the creation date is 2019 so it doesn't make sense. One more thing, to check the last update of the OVF, I need to go through Storage -> Disks -> select the "images" in the button group. I think it's pretty hidden. I think that we should add it to the disk's table when selecting a specific storage domain as well - just suggesting. Moving back to ASSIGNED
Yes, please. Let's check why it is not updated. Ahmed, can you please have a look.
a new patch has been submitted: https://gerrit.ovirt.org/c/107952/ screenshots: https://imgur.com/a/HkrnFV6
Tried to verified on: 4.3.10-0.2.el7 "Last Modified" column doesn't exist under Storage->Disks. The column exists under Storage -> Disks -> "images" and for disks other then OVF, the last modified value is 1.1.1970. It doesn't look like Ahmad's screenshot, moving back to ASSIGNED. Attaching screenshots.

I will recheck what changes since this change. I'll push another patch if needed.
(In reply to Ahmad Khiet from comment #17) > a new patch has been submitted: > > https://gerrit.ovirt.org/c/107952/ > > screenshots: https://imgur.com/a/HkrnFV6 As it was decided to keep the last modified column in 'Images' tab and not in 'All' tab, moving to 'Verified'.
