Description Takashi Kajinami 2019-06-12 07:06:24 UTC
Description of problem:

When we use iscsi/fc volume as cinder backend, and cloud user deploys lvm on cinder volumes,
it causes failure in detach operation in nova, as the host automatically detects lvm
and that detection makes the device in use status.

Today triplo does not change any configuration related to lvm and we need to implement
some configuration script to filter out lvm on cinder volumes using NodeUserData,

I think that it would be useful if we can realize this basic and very important configuration via director,
which saves many users from volume problems caused by lvm detection.
