Description of problem:

Applying errata using web ui (katello-agent)" does not work. Task completes with "Success" status.

Issue is with RHEL 8 clients (only).

Red Hat Satellite 6.5
RHEL 8.0

How reproducible:

Always

Steps to Reproduce:

Satellite Web UI -> Hosts -> Content Hosts -> Select the host -> Errata -> Select the Errata & apply using "Katello-agent".

Actual results:

Task gets completes with no error but it does not install the errata. 

Expected results:

It should install/update the errata

Same old bugzilla with the KCS.

* Package or group of packages can installed/updated using the same method without any issue. Issue is only with the Errata.

* Tested the same on RHEL 7 machine, it works as expected.

Hello Raviraj,

This may be a duplicate of bug 1713417.  Does the behavior you are observing look similar to it?

Thanks Raviraj!  Correct, bug 1713417 was opened on an internal 6.6.0 build; however, we confirmed that the same issue would also apply on 6.5.0.  Based upon this, I am going to close this one as a duplicate.  If there are any concerns, please do re-open with additional details.
