Description of problem:

System experiences hangs/freezes every few minutes, apparently during lots of graphics output activity such as refreshing the screen during desktop changes, application switching, etc.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. use the system normally, browse the web, etc.

Actual results:
System freezes.  Mouse cursor doesn't move.  Keyboard input is buffered until the system recovers from the freeze a few seconds later, then all the buffered keystrokes are input into the application.

Expected results:
No freezes.

This issue is fixed in kernel-5.1.17-200.fc29.  I believe this is the fix which was committed to upstream:
