Description of problem: According to RFE 1571283, the libvirt-admin package was added into the optional RHVH repository to be consumed, although, in the latest RHVH image I can't seem to find the `libvirt-admin` package Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): [root@rhvh43 ~]# imgbase w You are on rhvh-4.3.0.8-0.20190610.0+1 How reproducible: 100% Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install a RHVH with image rhvh-4.3.0.8-0.20190610.0+1 2. Enable rhel-7-server-rhvh-4* repos 3. yum search libvirt-admin Actual results: [root@rhvh43 ~]# yum search libvirt-admin : No matches found Expected results: libvirt-admin package should be available for consumption from RHVH repo Additional info: This is an important feature for CEE to request customer to change libvirt log level on the fly versus asking for modifications to the /etc/libvirt/libvirtd.conf and restarting libvirtd service to take effect. It was removed for bz 1688835 - I'd rather add it to the image itself since it doesn't pull any other requirements. Is that acceptable ?
Since libvirt-admin doesn't seem to require additional packages (deps), I do agree that adding the RPM into the image would be better
decided to add the package in the image itself.
Test version: redhat-virtualization-host-4.3.5-20190710.2.el7_7 ovirt-host-4.3.4-1.el7ev Test result: # rpm -qa| grep libvirt-admin libvirt-admin-4.5.0-23.el7.x86_64 So the bug is fixed, change bug status to VERIFIED.
