Created attachment 1587086 [details] Upstream fix Description of problem: The current version of abi-dumper fails to correctly parse the debuginfo output from elfutils on F30 and later. This was discovered during the addition of a CI stage for exiv2 (https://github.com/Exiv2/exiv2/pull/917) and fixed upstream by this commit: https://github.com/lvc/abi-dumper/commit/3d6dbb6d48d10579984fb7fda2e79d3d73e10f70 Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): abi-dumper 1.1 How reproducible: Follow the steps from the .gitlab-ci.yml from here in a Fedora 30/Rawhide container: https://github.com/Exiv2/exiv2/pull/917/files#diff-96edf7a6f008de9e928d04e1ae5e12a5 Actual results: No meaningfull result will be created by abi-compliance-checker. Expected results: abi-dumper should properly extract the debuginfo, so that abi-compliance-checker can generate a good report. Additional info: This issue should be solved by cherry-picking https://github.com/lvc/abi-dumper/commit/3d6dbb6d48d10579984fb7fda2e79d3d73e10f70 (patch is attached)
