Created attachment 1592430 [details] Fix syncing to kindle-s for calibre 3.36.0 As briefly discussed in bug 1667497 calibre >= 3.44.0 is necessary to be able to sync books to kindle-s on systems running kernel >= 5.1.10. As mentioned in bug 1667497 we currently cannot upgrade to 3.44.0 due to the python2 -> 3 transition. Still not being to able to sync is a big problem, so to fix this I've backported the 3.44.0 fix for this to 3.36.0 and I've tested that the backported patch fixes things. Can we please get an updated calibre-3.36.0 package with this patch into Fedora so that people can sync to their kindle-s again?
