Difficult to exploit vulnerability allows unauthenticated attacker with network access via multiple protocols to compromise MySQL Server. Successful attacks require human interaction from a person other than the attacker. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in takeover of MySQL Server. This CVE should not be applicable to MySQL packages included in Red Hat products. Oracle CPU page lists "Shell" as affected subcomponent. MySQL Shell is an upstream project: https://dev.mysql.com/doc/mysql-shell/8.0/en/ which is not bundled with the MySQL Community Server sources used to build MySQL packages included in Red Hat products. However, Shell is included in the MySQL Enterprise Edition as part of the Enterprise High-Availability functionality: https://www.mysql.com/products/enterprise/high_availability.html Not considering MySQL packages in Red Hat products affected by this issue.
