Description Uwe Menges 2019-07-24 18:55:47 UTC
Description of problem:
The graphite-web-1.1.5-2.fc30.noarch.rpm package contains /usr/share/graphite/graphite-web.wsgi but its contents are from README.fedora

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
graphite-web-1.1.5-2.fc30.noarch.rpm

How reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. dnf download graphite-web
2. rpm2cpio graphite-web-1.1.5-2.fc30.noarch.rpm | cpio -id
3. head ./usr/share/graphite/graphite-web.wsgi

Actual results:
Web server complains and fails to serve wsgi:

mod_wsgi (pid=8758, process='', application=''): Failed to parse Python script file '/usr/share/graphite/graphite-web.wsgi'.
mod_wsgi (pid=8758): Exception occurred processing WSGI script '/usr/share/graphite/graphite-web.wsgi'.
[wsgi:error] [pid 8758:tid 140213849837888] File "/usr/share/graphite/graphite-web.wsgi", line 1
[wsgi:error] [pid 8758:tid 140213849837888]     =========== README.fedora ===========
[wsgi:error] [pid 8758:tid 140213849837888] ^
[wsgi:error] [pid 8758:tid 140213849837888] SyntaxError: invalid syntax

Expected results:
Graphite works out of the box after installing rpm.

Additional info:

https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/graphite-web/blob/master/f/graphite-web.spec#_106 should probably read "%{SOURCE3}"

Yours, Uwe
