Description Sean McNeil 2019-07-26 05:40:19 UTC
Description of problem:

The minipro package no longer works with recent update.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

minipro.x86_64 0.3-1.fc30 @updates

How reproducible:

Attempt to flash an image. For example

minipro -p "MX25L12836E @SOP8" -w image.bin

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create an image to flash. For example, image.bin.
2. Attempt to flash the image. For example minipro -p "MX25L12836E @SOP8" -w image.bin
3. Note that flashing image will fail.

Actual results:

Flashing fails with

IO error: bulk_transfer: LIBUSB_ERROR_OVERFLOW

Expected results:

Flash succeeds.

Additional info:

This was working not too long ago. I believe it is because of an update to the kernel or d-bus.
