Description Daein Park 2019-07-29 02:55:03 UTC
Document URL:

* Installing a cluster on AWS with network customizations
  [ https://docs.openshift.com/container-platform/4.1/installing/installing_aws/installing-aws-network-customizations.html ]

Section Number and Name:

* Cluster Network Operator custom resource (CR)
  [ https://docs.openshift.com/container-platform/4.1/installing/installing_aws/installing-aws-network-customizations.html#nw-operator-cr_installing-aws-network-customizations ]

Describe the issue:

OpenShift SDN is shared configuration for all type installation, but the section has been included only AWS section, not other UPI environments.
So it looks like other UPI has been required other configuration steps, it's confusing for end users.

Suggestions for improvement:

OpenShift SDN network customization section should also be included other UPI section, such as bare metal UPI, and so on.
Or isolate this section from current section(AWS dedicated) in order to share common configuration with all installation types.
