Created attachment 1603563 [details] Patch for ALSA hdea realtek: add quirk for HP Envy x360 Patch from Takashi Iwai of Linux Kernel team adding a quirk for HP Envy x360. I confirm the fix restore the functionality of LED mute button as tested on Kernel 5.2.8.
Initial workaround was to create alsa.conf in /etc/modprobe.d/ with "options snd-hda-intel model=,hp-mute-led-mic3" parameter. The proposed patch from upstream removes that necessity.
Closing this report as the fix is now available upstream.
