Description Lee Yarwood 2019-08-01 14:01:15 UTC
Description of problem:

This RFE is tracking support for the deployment and use of openstack-nova-compute from OSP 16 on RHEL 7.latest compute hosts in the context of a fast forward upgrade between OSP 13 and 16.

Comment 5 Rajesh Tailor 2020-05-04 13:52:13 UTC
We have worked with Lukas from Upgrades DFG on how to run OSP16 nova-compute container on OSP13 compute node running RHEL 7 and we could do it successfully.
But we had selinux issue while live-migrating vms from OSP13 to OSP16 nodes.

@Lukas, Could you please update the current status of the BZ#1824154 [1] as it is dependent on that.

Waiting on https://review.opendev.org/#/c/729353/ and we already hit classic bug - https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1846557

Looks like the first patch has landed and the second has been deemed not a blocker and will be addressed with documentation. Anything else left here?
