Description jack 2000-09-08 20:11:47 UTC
The location of the linuxconf binary has been moved to /sbin. But the
/etc/rc.d/init.d/network
script has not been modified. This make the "network probe" silently fail.
If a user
change a network configuration, normally, linuxconf will report that a
"network reload" is
required. With this bug, linuxconf will never report anything. The bug
affect also the "status"
command (/etc/rc.d/init.d/network status) which won't report much useful
information.

It will be fixed in 5.50-1.
