Red Hat Satellite engineering is moving the tracking of its product development work on Satellite to Red Hat Jira (issues.redhat.com). If you're a Red Hat customer, please continue to file support cases via the Red Hat customer portal. If you're not, please head to the "Satellite project" in Red Hat Jira and file new tickets here. Individual Bugzilla bugs will be migrated starting at the end of May. If you cannot log in to RH Jira, please consult article #7032570. That failing, please send an e-mail to the RH Jira admins at rh-issues@redhat.com to troubleshoot your issue as a user management inquiry. The email creates a ServiceNow ticket with Red Hat. Individual Bugzilla bugs that are migrated will be moved to status "CLOSED", resolution "MIGRATED", and set with "MigratedToJIRA" in "Keywords". The link to the successor Jira issue will be found under "Links", have a little "two-footprint" icon next to it, and direct you to the "Satellite project" in Red Hat Jira (issue links are of type "https://issues.redhat.com/browse/SAT-XXXX", where "X" is a digit). This same link will be available in a blue banner at the top of the page informing you that that bug has been migrated.

Description Bryan Kearney 2019-08-05 15:31:28 UTC
The applicable errata host has this, but the applied does not. We should ensure that both have similar filters.

Moving this bug to POST for triage into Satellite since the upstream issue https://projects.theforeman.org/issues/29969 has been resolved.

Comment 9 Lukáš Hellebrandt 2021-06-16 16:44:22 UTC
FailedQA with Sat 6.10.0 snap 4.0.

There is indeed a host filter field when generating the Applied errata report. However, when I fill anything, the result is always empty. For example, when I don't fill anything, I get a list of applied errata, including entries for host '[full_hostname_filtered]3-221[full_hostname_filtered]' but when I fill 'name ~ 3-221' as filter, I get a dataset only containing the header.

Comment 10 Lukáš Hellebrandt 2021-06-17 10:34:55 UTC
Actually, when specifying a filter that should NOT match any host, the results are provided for all hosts. Seems like some condition is reversed somewhere.

Comment 15 Lukáš Hellebrandt 2021-10-18 14:02:12 UTC
Verified with Sat 6.10.0 snap 23.0.

Used reproducer from comment 9, everything works as expected.

Comment 18 errata-xmlrpc 2021-11-16 14:08:51 UTC
Since the problem described in this bug report should be
resolved in a recent advisory, it has been closed with a
resolution of ERRATA.
