Python 2.7 will reach end-of-life in January 2020, over 9 years after it was released. This falls within the Fedora 31 lifetime. This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 31 development cycle. Changing version to 31.

My suggestion would be to keep redhat-lsb depending on whatever package provides /usr/bin/python. This will not satisfy the requirements specified by LSB entirely, but unfortunately LSB is dead and is not getting the necessary updates. Keeping redhat-lsb and pulling in a working python interpreter from it, seems to me to be the least bad option.
Since redhat-lsb already only has Requires: /usr/bin/python I guess this one could be closed?
