Hi, Could you please branch and build libffado for EPEL 8 ? I've submitted a PR to port to python3 : https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/libffado/pull-request/2 This also needs an EPEL 8 build for libxml++. Regards, Xavier
This package has changed maintainer in the Fedora. Reassigning to the new maintainer of this component.
I'm a little confused - I've installed: jack-audio-connection-kit.x86_64 1.9.12-8.el8 But, jack-audio-connection-kit in bug #1739165 for epel is blocked by this. So, as I've installed jack from epel, bug #1739165 can presumably be closed? And, as this bug blocks that bug - this too can be closed - but, it can't because libffado doesn't exist in epel: $ uname -r 4.18.0-147.5.1.el8_1.centos.plus.x86_64 $ sudo dnf list *ffado* --enablerepo=fedora30 --enablerepo=fedora30-updates [sudo] password for admin: Fedora 30 - x86_64 - Updates 38 kB/s | 18 kB 00:00 Fedora 30 - x86_64 - Updates 6.0 MB/s | 28 MB 00:04 Last metadata expiration check: 0:00:21 ago on Sun 22 Mar 2020 10:46:27 GMT. Error: No matching Packages to list $ (Also, OT confusion - ffado exists, above for f30, but there's no entry in koji for it?)
Can this be progressed now that libxml++ is in epel-testing? https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1739162#c4 Thanks
