Description of problem: I see this in EPEL 7: Error: Package: cabal-rpm-0.13-1.el7.x86_64 (epel) Requires: libHSsimple-cmd-0.1.1-ghc7.6.3.so()(64bit) Error: Package: cabal-rpm-0.13-1.el7.x86_64 (epel) Requires: ghc(simple-cmd-0.1.1-c36eb5bf02af38438233509203191943) Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 0.13-1.el7.x86_64
I hit this as well. I initially ignored it because I thought it was due to CentOS and EPEL being out of sync, but now that CR packages are out, I notice it is entirely an EPEL issue. I also enabled epel-testing with no change. There is a ghc-simple-cmd package available in EPEL, but it provides a newer version than what cabal-rpm requires: # repoquery --provides ghc-simple-cmd ghc(simple-cmd-0.1.3.1-23754436579f0547af4a5dbe38f10ca2) ghc-simple-cmd = 0.1.3.1-1.el7 ghc-simple-cmd(x86-64) = 0.1.3.1-1.el7 libHSsimple-cmd-0.1.3.1-ghc7.6.3.so()(64bit)

Thanks. Works for me now. Looks like it no longer requires ghc-simple-cmd at all?
