Could you please build the suite of collectd packages for EPEL8?
Yeah, but we are going to have to figure out what plugins we can enable...
FEDORA-EPEL-2019-65b46df217 has been submitted as an update to Fedora EPEL 8. https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-EPEL-2019-65b46df217
collectd-5.9.0-4.el8 has been pushed to the Fedora EPEL 8 testing repository. If problems still persist, please make note of it in this bug report. See https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/QA:Updates_Testing for instructions on how to install test updates. You can provide feedback for this update here: https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-EPEL-2019-65b46df217
Suggestion: migrate the Disk plugin into the core package. Rationale: In the previous versions (eg EPEL 7) the Disk plugin was part of the core "collectd" package. In this testing version the Disk plugin has migrated to its own package "collectd-disk". This will cause some unnecessary complications in automation (eg ansible) by requiring a special case for EPEL 8. I don't know if this is an upstream change, or just a result of packaging, though.
