Last modified: 2007-11-30 17:11:18 EST
Description of problem:
Kernels after about kernel-2.6.14-1.1696_FC5 panic on reboot. Possibly raid
related. Picture of cosole after panic on an i686 machine with
kernel-2.6.14-1.1696_FC5 boots OK.
Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Also happened on my x86_64, but the motherboard died completely before
I could get photo. I'm hoping it hasn't killed my $850 FX55 cpu.
Steps to Reproduce:
Created attachment 121512 [details]

This seems to be a mkinitrd problem.
Fixed on kernel-2.6.14-1.1715_FC5 by downgrading from mkinitrd-5.0.12-1 to
mkinitrd-5.0.10-1 (albeit very slowly due to separate selinux problem).
Probably this is same as bug #169059.
Now if I could only resurrect my dead FX55 !!!
