Description of problem: Please build python-genshi for EPEL8. Required by TurboGears2. Thank you.
Do you need a Python 2 subpackage? I'd prefer rather have only a Python 3 package but I guess we can add it if TurboGears 2 needs it. Also I don't have RHEL8 VM ready so it is hard for me to test the package. I guess this will change once CentOS 8 is released. Do you have a specific timeline?
Planning to build only TurboGears2 for python3. No need a python2-genshi package. I have no RHEL8 too. CentOS 8 is ready, just not released. Every Fedora 28 (or newer) package should work on RHEL/CentOS 8. It will be nice to have all packages available in time of CentOS 8 release. So no specific timeline, just trying to build everything need to be done.
Genshi is now available in EPEL8 - though I could not test the actual package (no CentOS 8 yet): https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=37705039
