Rebuilding the current kf5-kxmlgui-5.52.0-1.el7.src.rpm with a version bump to kf5-kxmlgui-5.52.0-1.el7_1.src.rpm (no other changes) against the newer qt5 packages in 7.7 produces an installable package that appears to work.
