Description Anton Guda 2019-08-31 11:14:58 UTC
Description of problem:
Rawhide introduces new version of the gcc for arm-none,
but library was build by older version.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
arm-none-eabi-newlib-3.1.0
arm-none-eabi-gcc-cs-9.2.0-1.fc32

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Try to build a simple program for STM32 (my be a CubeMX project)

Actual results:
Compilation is done without error, but linker failed to build executable due to many errors like
/usr/lib/gcc/arm-none-eabi/9.2.0/../../../../arm-none-eabi/bin/ld: error: leds.elf uses VFP register arguments, /usr/lib/gcc/arm-none-eabi/9.2.0/../../../../arm-none-eabi/lib/libc.a(lib_a-memset.o) does not

Expected results:
Build w/o errors.

Additional info:
A remade arm-none-eabi-newlib myself - works for me.
