Hi Steve, I've been building puppet6 for el8 for myself, once I didn't hear from puppet for a while. I have some spec files here if you find them useful (https://github.com/skywalkerz0r?tab=repositories). It is a build of puppet and puppetserver, both 6th version. Do you plan building puppet as well? Let me know If I can help somehow.
Unfortunatly we jumped ship and started using puppet-agent as provided, well we rebuild that.
