Expected Results:  System should boot with no assertion failures

This seems to have started with the patch from jgarzik added to kernel [2.6.9-22.26]

A fix for this problem has just been committed to the RHEL3 U7
patch pool this evening (in kernel version 2.4.21-39.EL).
