Description Ming Davies 2019-09-11 15:39:45 UTC
Description of problem:
When changing the server secure port, i.e the ssl port, there is a pop up message saying: "Successfully updated security configuration. You must restart the server for these changes to take effect."

However, when changing the server port, i.e. the non-ssl port, the pop up message only says: ""Successfully updated configuration".

The pop up message should be consistent, i.e. restart is required in both cases.

Comment 1 mreynolds 2019-09-12 19:57:33 UTC
This is another issue where the javascript and ReactJS behave differently. This will be addressed when we port server.js to ReactJS...

Comment 4 bsmejkal 2020-09-03 09:59:12 UTC
Build tested:
389-ds-base-1.4.3.11-1.module+el8dsrv+7557+bc264682.x86_64
389-ds-base-libs-1.4.3.11-1.module+el8dsrv+7557+bc264682.x86_64
cockpit-389-ds-1.4.3.11-1.module+el8dsrv+7557+bc264682.noarch

The messages are now consistent both for ssl and non-ssl port ("Successfully updated security configuration. You must restart the server for these changes to take effect.").
Marking as VERIFIED.
