Description of problem: When I return to my laptop after a period of idle time (an hour or more) and screen is locked, I find I'm unable to use external keyboard and mouse connected to the machine via the USB hub in my monitor. Internal keyboard keeps working, so I'm able to unlock. When that happens I find that usbguard is either down or hanging. Restarting usbguard service brings the external devices to life again. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): usbguard-0.7.2-7.fc30.x86_64 How reproducible: Often. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Have an external USB mouse/keyboard connected to a laptop via an USB hub in a monitor 2. Whitelist them in usbguard 3. Leave the machine idle for a while 4. Try to unlock the screen Actual results: External USB keyboard and mouse are unresponsive, only internal keyboard and touchpad work. Expected results: External USB keyboard and mouse work as usual. Additional info: The following can be seen in the usbguard service journal: Sep 11 10:20:31 usbguard-daemon[11714]: sigwaitinfo failed: errno=4; Shutting down. And today I found a new one: Sep 12 16:46:59 usbguard-daemon[1155]: ueventProcessRead: failed to read pending uevent: rc=-1 errno=105 Sep 12 16:46:59 usbguard-daemon[1155]: UEventDeviceManager thread: UEvent device manager: recvmsg: No buffer space available
