Hello, any plans for creating EPEL8 branch? I need it for KeepassXC (I am one the of the maintainers) Thank you
Feel free to maintain an epel8 branch.
I cannot at the moment
Okay, I've requested it, will build master on epel8
(In reply to Nicolas Chauvet (kwizart) from comment #3) > Okay, I've requested it, will build master on epel8 Thank you very much
I forgot that qt4 isn't in el8 the build will fail. Can you suggest a patch that can be merged in master. (PR welcomed on pagure).
In EPEL7, quazip-qt5 was available: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1439178 quazip-qt5-0.7.3-2.el7.src.rpm builds in Centos 8, but you have to change "cmake3" to "cmake" in the following lines in spec file: %dir %{_datadir}/cmake3/ %dir %{_datadir}/cmake3/Modules/ %{_datadir}/cmake3/Modules/FindQuaZip5.cmake
@Germano any patch against current master is welcomed.
Well, at least there is an el8 branch, someone needs to fix the build in a way that can be fast-forwarded to master as I won't maintain the el8 branch myself.
The branch has been created, but there is no successful build in EPEL8 yet. I have the changes necessary to build Fedora+EPEL from the same spec ready in my fork, so I'm going to reopen this bug and submit a PR.

Hello Ondrej, Just wanted to drop a note that I was able to build quazip from your fork (on RHEL 8.4), and was able to subsequently build KeePassXC 2.6.6 after bumping that one's .spec myself. Thank you for this! Hopefully your PR gets merged soon.
@Onde
@Ondrej This MR looks fine, the only things is either we will assume qt6 will be available for el9. But this can be adjusted later.
Yes, at this point it's hard to figure out what the conditional should eventually look like, so I went with the simplest option for now :)
