Description Georg Sauthoff 2019-10-12 13:28:16 UTC
Could you create a epel8 branch for python-asynctest?

python3-asynctest is a dependency of a Fedora package of mine I want to package for epel8.

Comment 1 Dominik 'Rathann' Mierzejewski 2019-12-01 17:30:46 UTC
I'm not interested in maintaining epel8 branch at this time, so if you'd like to maintain it yourself, please go ahead and request it. I could use some help maintaining the package in Fedora, too. Let me know your FAS login so that I can add you to the commit ACL.

Comment 2 Dominik 'Rathann' Mierzejewski 2019-12-15 23:40:49 UTC
I'll close as WONTFIX if you're not interested in co-maintaining.

Comment 3 Ben Cotton 2020-02-11 17:40:23 UTC
This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 32 development cycle.
Changing version to 32.

Comment 4 Georg Sauthoff 2020-05-01 08:41:33 UTC
I've request an epel8 branch:

https://pagure.io/releng/fedora-scm-requests/issue/24684

Comment 5 Georg Sauthoff 2020-05-01 08:42:06 UTC
s/request/requested/

Comment 6 Georg Sauthoff 2020-05-01 14:50:03 UTC
Dominik, the request was just closed as invalid with 'gsauthof is not a maintainer of the python-asynctest package'.

Do _you_ have to request that branch and make me co-maintainer on that branch or something like that?

Awesome how `fedpkg request-branch` doesn't check such stuff before submitting a request ...

Comment 7 Dominik 'Rathann' Mierzejewski 2020-05-02 09:52:01 UTC
Thanks for your interest in co-maintaining the package. I added you to ACL and requested the epel8 branch myself, just in case. You can take it from here.

Comment 9 Georg Sauthoff 2020-09-08 20:02:32 UTC
Package is now retired:

https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1871594#c4

(and it isn't needed anymore for python3-aioresponses)
