This bug was initially created as a copy of Bug #1761571 I am copying this bug because: Description of problem: Upgrading to collectd-rdt-5.8.1-2.el7ost on RHEL-7.7 fails due to a missing dependency of libpqos-1.0.1.so. RHEL 7.7 ships intel-cmt-cat-3.0.1-1.el7 which contains libpqos-3.0.1.so, collectd-rdt was built against intel-cmt-cat-1.0.1-1. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install collectd-rdt-5.8.1-2.el7ost and intel-cmt-cat-1.0.1-1.el7ost 2. yum update Actual results: Error: Package: collectd-rdt-5.8.1-2.el7ost.x86_64 (@rhel-7-server-openstack-10-optools-rpms) Requires: libpqos-1.0.1.so()(64bit) Removing: intel-cmt-cat-1.0.1-1.el7ost.x86_64 (@rhel-7-server-openstack-10-optools-rpms) libpqos-1.0.1.so()(64bit) Updated By: intel-cmt-cat-3.0.1-1.el7.x86_64 (rhel-7-server-rpms) Not found Expected results: Update completes without error.
