Description Chance Zibolski 2019-10-28 19:05:14 UTC
+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #1766339 +++

Description of problem: OSBS now publishes to quay instead of brew-pulp, and flattens the namespaces into the repository name, and uses image digests instead of tags. We have mirroring scripts written to fetch the ClusterServiceVersion for the metering-ocp OLM package and extracts the images we need to use that needs updating for QE to test 4.3 and 4.2 OLM OCP content.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 4.2.0

How reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Run mirroring scripts
2. Get failure on invalid tags

Actual results: Metering ./hack/mirror-ose-images-into-cluster.sh do not work

Expected results: ./hack/mirror-ose-images-into-cluster.sh works for mirroring content in quay

This was previously fixed in https://github.com/operator-framework/operator-metering/pull/986

Comment 1 Peter Ruan 2019-11-06 05:33:47 UTC
tested against PR branch and it works https://github.com/operator-framework/operator-metering/pull/1016. Will test it again once it's merged.

Comment 2 Derek Carr 2019-11-11 04:43:10 UTC
bugs need to get moved to ON_QA by automation only.

Comment 4 Peter Ruan 2019-11-13 15:58:18 UTC
VERIFIED.

Comment 5 Peter Ruan 2019-11-13 18:55:27 UTC
move back to ON_QA... moved to VERIFIED by mistake

Comment 9 Peter Ruan 2019-12-03 21:02:27 UTC
Verified with 4.2.0-0.nightly-2019-12-03-084420

1. git checkout upstream/release-4.2
2. follow directions in https://github.com/operator-framework/operator-metering/blob/master/Documentation/dev/testing-olm-ocp-install.md

able to install using OLM from web.
