If there is a reproduced .rtf that can trigger this, and you are able to attach it here, please do so
Created attachment 1630952 [details] Queried document Steps to reproduce: 1. Under Windows –used version: 10–. Under last stable Libreoffice Writer version, open new document; 2. I can open that document on F31 with the same version of LibreOffice without any problem. Can I get the output of rpm -qa | grep libreoffice

dnf install libreoffice-math and your crash will probably go away. We shouldn't crash in its absence though.
Thanks to your suggestion, I was able to deduct that the lack of that component could be the root of an issue that i had previously reported at https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=128291. Previously to those issues, some Libreoffice applications had been removed via Gnome Software 3.34.1; along with one of them was accidentally removed Writer which was meant to be kept, so I had to rely on manual installation to get it back. I tested effect of installation of that component first in that context then in present context. It solved both issues.
FEDORA-2019-98ad8aa767 has been submitted as an update to Fedora 31. https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2019-98ad8aa767
libreoffice-6.3.3.2-2.fc31 has been pushed to the Fedora 31 testing repository. If problems still persist, please make note of it in this bug report. See https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/QA:Updates_Testing for instructions on how to install test updates. You can provide feedback for this update here: https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2019-98ad8aa767
Command 'dnf -qy --enablerepo=updates-testing install libreoffice-writer' was executed. Do you expect test to be run while libreoffice-math is not installed?
These are all automated messages, you don't need to do anything.
